Vineyards

These grapes are grown on a hilly terrain around Genzano and Lanuvio, two nice towns located at the slope of the Castelli Romani (Roman Castles), province of Rome.

Grape Varieties

Malvasia di Candia, Malvasia Puntinata or del Lazio, Trebbiano Toscano.

Wine making tecnique

White vinification, gently pressed in order to obtain a must that is filtered and brought to fermentation at a controlled temperature, “First Drop” clear, addition of specific yeast. The wine is strained to avoid further fermentation.

Peculiarity

COLOUR: Straw yellow with a light green hues
BOUQUET: It has a delicate fruity perfume (apple-banana).
TASTE: Dry, medium bodied, moderately alcoholic, with a fresh fruitish taste like in the bouquet.
It is a very fine and elegant wine.

Advice from winemaker

We suggest to drink this wine chilled to 8° -10° C (47°-50° F.), and it is better to drink it within the next year after the harvest.

Gastronomical suggestions

Versatile wine adapts well from the first to the last course, great companion for hors-d’oeuvre, well suited to fish, roast of white meats and to many other different and delicate courses.
